homemade latte, belgian waffles and peaches.

my room gets SO much light. my room is still a mess, but we're getting there. for the first time in my life, all the hangers in my room are store-bought nice wooden hangers. i also scored this set of fancy silk dress-hangers (hard to explain) from the thrift store for $1.50. art is being hung in my bare unable-to-paint walls, clothes have been organized, and random crap from my life is being thrown out. the only major task left in my room is to setup my art stuff so i can. what? make art? who am i.

virginia never sounds exciting or romantic. but this is where i call home now. it's got my juan, a good church, really kind and genuine people, and huge thrift stores.

now only if we can get some banging mexican food up in here..

i don't like being in a long-distance relationship with UNIQUE Thrift Store.

I think it stole my heart.

(YAY FOR MAKING ART!)

I totally agree with you on the lack of GOOD Mexican food. That's like one of the things I craved during my time in DC. Chipotle could only satisfy so much.
