one of the smallest most kickass ninjas i know. she sleeps during the day, paints in evenings , and saves the world at night with her ninja coat. i still remember when dan-ah got mugged on our apartment street in brooklyn.
4:30 am, hot summer morning, dan-ah goes to work on a film set. walking out to taaffe, a big scary man goes:
big scary man: GIVE ME YOUR BAG.
small dan-ah: F*CK YOU NO!
(dan-ah says i exaggerate this scene which i actually never saw, but at some point which i can't remember, my imagination may have taken off and gone with whatever information i was given about this incident (regarding the eff part..). but it makes it a better story nevertheless.)
he soon after pushed her and she broke her finger. then he took her bag and started running, and danah, broken finger and bruised shoulder and all, RUNS after him.
what a crazy mofo.
danah if you are reading this,
i think you are a crazy mofo. kickass.

to this day i just regret not kneeing that guy in the nuts -_-
i also remember her telling him to fuck off or fuck you... maybe she made that part up but i have continuously included that in my own retelling of that story.
